Condrieu AOC

Condrieu AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée), located in the Northern Rhône Valley in France, is recognized as the benchmark for monovarietal Viognier.  This white grape thrives in the region’s steep granite slopes and narrow terraces, known as “chaillées”.  Summers are hot and dry while the cold winters allow the vines to rest properly, resulting in Viogniers that have intense aromatics of tangerines, apricots, cream, and white flowers. Condrieu wines pair perfectly with classic French dishes like Bouillabaisse (seafood soup) or Salade Niçoise. Cheers!
